Future Forte Presents
Green Pathways Project 2025
Future Forte, with the support of the Youth Climate Action Fund by the City of Melbourne and Bloomberg Philanthropies, is proud to present the 2025 Green Pathways Project — a three-part program designed to equip international students with the knowledge, skills, and networks to thrive in the green careers.
About the Program 🌱
The Green Pathways Project 2025 is designed to equip international students with the knowledge, skills, and networks to thrive in the green careers. Green careers are roles in any industry that protect the environment, promote sustainability, and help build a climate-resilient future. They span diverse sectors, from renewable energy and circular economy, to climate resilience, sustainable design, and environmental policy, and combine professional skills with the mission of protecting our planet.
Through two interactive online workshops and one in-person Green Careers Fair & Networking Session, participants will explore how climate change is shaping industries, learn to build a professional profile for climate-aligned work, and connect directly with employers and peers committed to sustainability.

🌟 2024 Green Pathways Spotlight
In 2024, international students from across Melbourne came together to plant the seeds of their green journeys. Through the 🌱 SEED, 🌳 ROOTS, and 🌸 FLOWERS workshops, participants first explored how climate change is reshaping industries, then learned practical ways to live and lead sustainably and finally stepped into the world of green careers, guided by professionals who once stood in their shoes.
By the end of the series, students left not only with new knowledge and practical skills, but also with the connections and confidence to make an impact in their communities and careers, in Melbourne and beyond.
